Calling a toll-free number in Canada?
Calling a toll-free number may not always work when calling to Canada from the U.S. While toll-free calls are normally free, you may be charged a regular international rate or even higher when calling from abroad. Try calling the regular number instead.
Do you live in the US and miss hearing from your friends in Canada?
With Vonage, you can add a local Montréal number to your account. That way, your friends Montréal can make a local call that rings right to your home phone in the U.S. It’s called a virtual number and is inexpensive and easy to use; you get a phone number from a different domestic or international location that rings to your home phone. By adding a virtual number to your Vonage World® plan, you can save your friends in Canada from expensive international calling rates when they call you. Of course, with Vonage World® you can make unlimited¹ landline and mobile calls to them.
